Chantal graduated form the University of Amsterdam in clinical psychology. She works with cognitive behavioural therapy and uses ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) and EMDR when indicated. She is experienced in the treatment of various psychological problems in (young) adults, including anxiety and mood disorders, stress-related problems, sexual problems and low self-esteem. Chantal works as a psychologist for Grip Psychologen as well as a general practice-based nurse for mental health (in Dutch: POH GGZ). She is currently training to become a cognitive behavioural therapist and she is a member of the Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapy (VGCT) She is a member of the Netherlands Institute for Psychologists (NIP).
Chantal works on Monday, Wednesday (evenings) and Friday at both the city centre and Amsterdam West location. On Tuesday she works as a general practice-based mental health specialist.
