Claudio Flores Schaepman is a psychologist in training as a BIG registered healthcare psychologist (in Dutch: psycholoog i.o. tot GZ-psycholoog). He graduated in 2009 from Radboud University of Nijmegen in the field of clinical psychology and has been working at Grip since 2015. After his studies he gained experience in the diagnosis, treatment and support of people with AD(H)D, autism and the anxiety and mood problems that often go along with it.
At Grip, Claudio has extensive experience in the treatment of various symptoms including anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem and stress-related problems. He works with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT). He is also a mindfulness trainer (MBSR/MBCT) and is the trainer of the group training mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) at Grip. In individual therapy, in addition to CBT and ACT, he also uses EMDR, mindfulness and compassion-focus interventions.
Claudio works on Monday, Tuesday evening, Wednesday and Thursday at both the city centre and Amsterdam West location.
