Martin-Jan is a psychologist at Grip Psyhologen and previously worked at PsyQ for two years, where he gained extensive experience in diagnostics and the (group) treatment of people with anxiety and mood disorders, stress related complaints and psychotrauma. He mainly works with cognitive behavioural therapy and in addition EMDR and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) when needed. He obtained his Master's degree in clinical and health psychology at the University of Utrecht and is currently training to become a cognitive behavioural therapist (VGCT).
Martin-Jan works from home (videocalling) on Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons and evenings. He works at our practice in Amsterdam West on Wednesdays and in the city centre on Fridays.
