Mission

Our mission within Grip is to provide evidence-based personal psychological treatment, in a way - and in a setting in which - the practitioner would also want to be treated.

We perform our mission by giving demand-oriented treatment by practitioners who continuously develop in effective proven treatment methods and valid psychological research, while always reflecting on their own performance. Our practitioners are involved, unbiased and personal, with regards to always working in collaboration with you, the client, in a transparent manner on set treatment goals with appropriate treatment methods.

At our two locations in Amsterdam we try to create a pleasant and personal atmosphere where you can work on your treatment goals together with the practitioner. We can also offer the treatment partially or completely online, while continuously reflecting on which form best suits you.

Flexibility and entrepreneurship are essential to working on our mission. We want to keep up with the latest insights in the field of treatment interventions and look for the most effective forms of treatment for our target group. We use various training groups for this purpose, such as Self-Image training, G-training, Attention Oriented Cognitive Therapy or Running Therapy. Because we are a small organization with young, passionate practitioners, we can adapt quickly and respond to what is needed for the client, the organization and society.

Vision

Our vision is to provide demand-oriented treatment by practitioners who continuously develop themselves on providing effective, proven treatment methods and continuously reflect on their own performance. We want to strengthen the resilience of both older and younger generations by effectively treating psychological complaints and recurring patterns and by being able to deal with the challenges of our (fast-paced and performance-oriented) society. We use treatments within the mono and multi setting (from a multidisciplinary team) to provide care to both clients with mild problems and complex problems.

In addition, we are committed to provide a pleasant and informal working atmosphere, and establish an organization that is supported by both employees and management. As an organization, we strive to ensure that employees feel healthy and resilient, with a good balance between work and private life. Our vision is to organize inspiring work meetings and workshops attended by the entire team. We see Grip as a positive organization where everyone is focused on challenges and solutions that we face together.

Our vision of our organization is that we are a socially conscious organization in the field of climate and charities. We are an innovative, fast-working and financially healthy organization. Finally, we strive for optimal cooperation between management, the secretariat and the practitioner.
